A late 18th century French ormolu and marble mantel clock with associated movement

Featuring twin cherubs flanking a crowing cockerel, seated on reeded bases to an inverted breakfront base with applied ormolu border and shaped feet, the six inch white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with pierced and gilt hands, now fitted with a 19th century English twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell 48cms (18.5ins) high.
