An early 19th century ebonised quarter chiming table clock

The brass mounted break arch case surmounted by a swing handle and four finials, raised on four bracket feet, the signed Roman and Arabic dial with foliate spandrels, subsidiary strike/silent and regulation dials to the arch, the three train chain fusee movement with verge escapement, chiming the quarters on eight bells and striking the hour on a ninth, the backplate engraved with profuse foliate scrolls. 48.5cm (19in)
