A Chinese famille verte square vessel

18th or 19th century
Potted as a square cylindrical vessel atop a square stand, the horizontal top enamelled in iron-red with a brocade pattern, the vertical facets decorated with floral sprays, the glaze cut short of the foot and shaped as a curtain, the base left unglazed, the cover similarly enamelled and with Buddhist lion finial. 15.5cm high (2).
