Two Chinese rock crystal carvings

Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)
Comprising: an elaborate archaistic vessel borne out of a crouching winged mythical beast, the mane and features finely detailed from the clear, even stone, carved wood stand; and a model of the Daoist god of Longevity, Shoulao, with a boy attendant, wood stand. The vessel: 14cm (5 1/2in) high; Shoulao: 13cm (5 1/8in) high (4).
