Georges Jacob, maitre in 1765

Georges Jacob (1739-1813) is considered one of the greatest menuisiers of the Louis XVI and Directoire periods who counted Marie-Antoinette and members of the Royal court among his clients and founded, with his sons, a cabinet making dynasty that flourished well into the first half of the nineteenth century.
