A Persian Priming-Flask
18th/19th Century

Of wootz steel, with swelling body of ovoidal section curving up to form the nozzle, the basal and shaped top mounts pierced with foliage, pierced sprung tap en suite and with stylised bird's head fitting over the nozzle, pierced hinged tabs, and two pierced suspension loops
14 cm.
