With slightly curved fullered single-edged blade, hilt comprising brass stirrup guard chased with foliage against a punched ground, brass pommel formed as a dragon's head, and bone grip of circular section carved with prunis terminating in a dragon's head on one side, and with bamboo en suite on the other, in original two-piece wooden scabbard inlaid with engraved mother-of-pearl foliage over each side, and with brass locket, chape and suspension mount all embossed with foliage on each side
