of bell-shaped form, decorated in silver overlay with a band of floral sprays, above and below bands containing floral vines and geometric motifs, the multifaceted neck with further floral sprays

The huqqa base is decorated in the reverse or aftabi technique, where the background is in silver overlay and the motifs have been cut through to reveal the black base metal underneath.
