A French Naval Cutlass, And A Prussian Naval Cutlass
Both 19th Century

The first with fullered blade double-edged at the point, short ricasso stamped with indistinct Solingen bladesmith's name on one side, steel half-basket guard, pommel and back-piece in one, and ribbed grip; the second with blade of yataghan form double-edged at the point, guard of similar form to the last, and cord-bound leather-covered grip (wire binding incomplete, both rust patinated overall) (2)
