A Russian 1826 Pattern Curaissier's Pallasch
Dated 1831

With fullered tapering single-edged blade stamped with inspector's marks on one side at the forte, the back etched in Russian with manufactory details and the date, regulation brass half-basket guard of three rounded bars swept-up to join the knuckle-guard, the last stamped with three circular inspector's marks, pommel-cap, and ribbed leather-covered grip (wire binding incomplete), in original steel scabbard (surface rust and some holes) with two rings for suspension
