With two-stage export barrels each retaining traces of maker's name at the breech and struck with barrelsmith's mark and pseudo proof marks, rounded locks each with waved border and engraved with a scroll inscribed 'Danzig' issuing from the mouth of a dolphin, tails chiselled with a grotesque mask, cocks chiselled and engraved with foliage, steels (one chipped) en suite, and rollers, silver full stocks embossed and chased with scrolling foliage against punched grounds along the fore-ends, one side at the muzzle stamped 'M:A:I:', probably the owner's initials, the butts covered in silver filigree set with silver beadwork and diamonds along the back, opposite the locks and on the pommels, trigger-guards, ramrod-pipes and pierced muzzle-sleeves all en suite, the last each with silver fore-sight, foliate silver triggers, and original steel ramrods with baluster tips; together with their original suma, the turned steel rod of octagonal section silver-damascened with alternate lines of foliage and dots, the grip and suspension loop en suite with the pistols, the latter set on each side with a piece of faceted green glass in imitation of an emerald, and all in fine condition (3)
