With broad double-edged blade (some scattered pitting) tapered at the point and cut with deep off-set fuller over most of its length on each side, the forte on one side incised with maker's name 'Omar Agha' and 'Master Asadullah', above the owner's name 'Hassan Hamdani', all in nasta'liq, waisted hilt with slender beaded silver strap, and rounded dark horn grips secured by three steel rivets each with silver washer formed from a coin on the inside, and two with rounded heads each against a silver floret-shaped washer on the outside, in later white-metal scabbard, the outer side with applied silver mounts including two birds and jingles (three missing), the mounts set with numerous turquoise beads and six carnelians, five painted or incised with pious inscriptions in thuluth and nasta'liq
