Illustrated by a Series of Original Specimens from the Works of Messrs. Payne... Girtin... Cox... Prout... Turner &c. &c., second edition, 19 aquatints on 18 sheets, each in 4 different states (etched, with aquatint, sepia tinted and fully hand-coloured), additional hand-colouring in text giving instructions for colouring and shading, occasional soiling and browning in margins, contemporary straight-grained morocco, covers with wide gilt-tooled borders, gilt panelled spine, g.e., worn [Abbey Life 140 (first edition)], oblong folio (326 x 450mm.), Printed for the Proprietors, and sold by Hassell & Co., 1818 (3)
