THE NOVELS OF CHARLES LEVER, 37 VOLUMES, PUBLISHED BY DOWNEY & CO. OF LONDON, 1903

Octavo, illustrated with hand-colored etchings including frontispieces and an additional title-page, titles printed in red and black, bound in full morocco elaborately gilt in a shamrock and clover design by The Adams, some green morocco inlay, spines gilt in 6 compartments, morocco and green silk doublures. top edges gilt, other edges uncut.

"Autograph Edition," no 5 from a limited edition of only 10 copies. With a 2 1/2 pp autograph letter by the Irish novelist Charles Lever signed in initials bound in to the front of the first volume.
