Footnotes
Joachim Hill (25 Nov 1783-12 April 1869) served as apprentice to Thomas Williams of Flemington, New Jersey, from circa 1797 to 1804 and probably succeeded to his business. The case of the present clock is virtually identical to one in the Hunterdon [NJ] County Historical Society that is attributed to the cabinet maker John Scudder of Westfield NJ.
