The flat top hood with blind cut frieze and inlaid dial surround, lacking supporting columns, long door with three panels of bird and flower marquetry, on a similar plinth, 11-inch square brass dial, winged cherub spandrels enclosing silvered roman and arabic chapter ring, the gilt matted center with seconds ring, ringed squares, decorated date aperture and rose-engraved center, the movement with five knopped and ringed pillars, anchor escapement, and inside count wheel strike on a bell
