The side panels and dial of the molded gilt case depicting courtiers in historical dress, arabic chapters on cartouche reserves enclosing an heraldic device in the center, blued fleur-de-lis hands, two barrel movement with Brocot escapement between square plates, rack striking the hours and half hour on a coiled gong
