no maker's mark evident, the board apparently unmarked, all pieces marked 925, 20th century
The hinged playing surface opening to a burgundy fabric and wood-lined interior fitted for storage, each side with coats-of-arms, the angles with knights, on four pierced foliate feet, pieces modeled as knights, royalty or castles with turquoise or cobalt blue enamel (33)
the board height 5 1/4in (13.25cm); width and depth 14 3/4in (37.5cm); the pieces heights 2 1/2in (6.25cm) to 2 3/4in (7cm).
