VE Message to General Eisenhower from King George VI, 7 May 1945
Original wireless transmission transcript field document, roughly cut off a field printer, from "EXFOR REAR" to "HQ L OF C; NETHERLANDS DISTRICT: GHQ Tps: EXFORACK: 79 Armd Div: EXFOR MAIN: ECHEXFOR BLA." The message is an inter command notice from the Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower to all troops in the European theater, relaying a personal message received from King George VI immediately after the German surrender.
