MONTBLANC: No. 7 Giant Black Hard Rubber Safety Fountain Pen, c.1920s
Huge No. 7 black hard rubber safety pen, "Simplo" imprint on barrel, large 14K gold #7 medium nib, heart vent, nice flexibility. 140mm. Excellent condition, glossy and lustrous, imprints clear and legible with just very slight rubs, safety mechanism works smoothly, cork seal is tight. A beauty. Lambrou describes this pen as "rare" in Fountain Pens of the World.
Jens Rösler comments:
"This pen was found by my father Jürgen Rösler in a pen shop liquidation in Hamburg in the sixties. The condition is unbelievable."
