WATERMAN: Sterling Silver Hand-Carved Repoussé English Dog Roses Eyedropper Fountain Pen by Heath, Original Box, Rare, c.1905
Considered by many to be the rarest and best overlay pen ever made. Features highly repoussé hand-carved English dog rose motif, believed to be the work of master goldsmith George W. Heath.
Straight cap, endpiece engraved "404 / Waterman / Sterling," indicia engraved in a precise and elegant script ("Presented to Neighbor A.J. Cover by Camp 11698 M.W. of A."), #4 Waterman Ideal heart-vent nib. 133mm. In original brown leather box lined in green silk and velvet, with original eyedropper.
