A George V officer's baskethilted broadsword, c. 1910-20

The 32 inch double edged blade with double fullers and 22 inch panel etched with conventional florals, one side with crown and Royal cipher and maker's mark Fenton Brothers Ltd. Sheffield/Cutlers/Estd//1850/Sword Cutlers/To The/War Office. Nickel-plated hilt of standard pattern retaining the red wool and buff leather liner. Shagreen and steel wire-wrapped grip. Brown leather scabbard.
Condition: Fine. Nickel showing some frosting.
