A Ko-Shoami sukashi tsuba

Early Edo period (17th century)
The circular iron sukashi tsuba carved with a design of pine needles, the surface showing a fine rich purplish brown patina, the rim banded with a rounded shakudo fukurin
3 1/8in (7.9cm) high
