A four-case lacquer inro

By Shunsho, Edo period (19th century)
Of lenticular section, decorated in gold hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, togidashi maki-e and kirigane on a roiro ground with sparrows in flight above flowering hagi (bush clover) near a stream, the interiors gold nashiji, signed Shunsho above a red kao; fitted with a red lacquer ojime carved with a dragon and an 18th-century stained wood netsuke of Gama Sennin
