A French late 19th century gilt-bronze, fruitwood and ivory marquetry three-piece garniture comprising a ring-holder on stand and pair of small candlesticks by Alphonse Giroux, the marquetry by Ferdinand Duvinage & Harinkouck, Paris

the baguier in the form of trumpeter boy holding a riffle over a shoulder, on a dish inlaid with foliate branches, inscribed FD Bté on a spreading circular foot, inscribed to the underside Alph. Giroux Paris; the candlesticks with similar marquetry also inscribed FB Bté and signed to the drip-pans Alph. Giroux Paris, 11cm in diameter, 17cm high (4in in diameter, 6 1/2in high). (3)
