An Italian late 19th century carved walnut reclining-fauteuil

the hinged back surmounted by a mask of Pan within a strapwork cartouche, flanked to each side by a seated satyr holding a cornucopia, the padded arm-rests each with a mechanical release button to the underside, on large lion monopodiae legs to the front and sabre legs to the back, covered with black velvet upholstery, 75cm wide, 95cm deep, 136cm high (29 1/2in wide, 37in deep, 53 1/2in high).
