A Dutch 19th century ebonised oak bureau-bookcase

decorated all-over with carved scrolling palmettes and cartouches, the arched pediment above a pair of glazed panelled doors, the interior with three shelves, above two small pull-out slides, the fall-front slope opening to reveal a fitted interior of eight drawers, pigeon-holes, a slide, two secret drawers and a cabinet door enclosing a further six drawers, above two short and three long drawers, on bracket feet, 147cm wide, 60cm deep, 250cm high (57 1/2in wide, 23 1/2in deep, 98in high).
