A Viennese late 19th century, gilt-bronze and enamel mounted ebonised bureau-cabinet

decorated all-over with shaped enamel plaques depicting mythological scenes, interspersed by pierced enamelled gilt-metal mounts, surmounted by a pierced baluster gallery, the front angles with a standing figure, above a pair of cupboard doors flanked by bulbous columns, the interior fitted with six drawers decorated with further panels, the rectangular hinged drop-down panel opening to an interior of two short drawers and a gilt-tooled blue leather writing surface, the lower section fitted with a single long drawer, on turned tapering supports joined by an 'H'-shaped platform stretcher, on bun feet, 108cm wide, 64.5cm deep, 188cm high (42 1/2in wide, 25in deep, 74in high).
