A pair of French late 19th century Renaissance style framed Montereau (B & Cie.) faience chargers depicting portraits of noble women

one painting signed Poitevin,
each finely painted within a square ebonised and parcel-gilt frame applied with carved scrolling foliage to the angles, each impressed to the reverse Montereau B & Cie. and numbered 30, 48cm wide, 48cm high (18 1/2in wide, 18 1/2in high) including the frames. (2)
