A French late 19th/ early 20th century Louis XV style gilt-bronze and Chinese lacquer bombé commode

the serpentine brèche Violette marble top above two long drawers decorated with figures in a landscape with pagodas and a boat in the background, mounted with scrolling foliate handles, the sides with similar lacquered panels within scrolling foliate frames, on cabriole legs and scrolling acanthus-cast feet, 139.5cm wide, 61cm deep, 89cm high (54 1/2in wide, 24in deep, 35in high).
