A pair of 19th century Austrian enamel and silver mounted candlesticks

by Herman Boehm, Vienna circa 1867-1874
The integrated drip pans painted with delicate scrolling foliage on cylindrical nozzles painted with gods, the cylindrical columns interrupted by chased and enamelled collars with terms in tricorn hats, raised on inverted tulip base, each painted with four classical scenes, including: Minerva and a Muse, Hercules slaying a Centaur, Mars and Venus, the foot with a floral and geometric champlevé enamel, the undersides painted with delicate scrolls and a pink washed ground, height 22.5cm.
