An Austrian enamel and silver-gilt timepiece
apparently unmarked,
The finial modelled as a Bacchanalian putto astride a barrel on a scrolling baluster form body with reeded silver-gilt mounts, the front with an enamelled panel painted with a centaur carrying off a nymph, the reverse with a depiction of the gods of the Rivers, the champlevé enamel Roman dial with verge escapement, raised on a platform foot with pastoral enamel panels, height 19cm.
