A rare engraved Jacobite ale glass, circa 1745, together with an early baluster ale glass or wine flute, circa 1725-30
Both with a tall slightly waisted bell bowl, one engraved with a six-petalled rose on a thorny stem with a single closed bud and several leaves, the multiple spiral air twist stem with upper and central knops, set on a conical foot, 19.9cm high (minute chip to foot), the other set on a triple-annulated knop above an inverted baluster and basal knop, conical foot, 19cm high (2)
