1652 Massachusetts Pine Tree Sixpence AU50 PCGS CAC Sticker. Noe-33, Salmon 2-B, W-670. R.3. Pellets at Trunk. The obverse off-centering is typical for the Noe-33 variety with the peripheral legend off the top, and completely defined at the bottom; the tree is full with both pellets bold on either side. The reverse is always much better centered on Noe-33 with the peripheral inscription bold and complete, and a full denomination and date along with inner beaded border. A diagnostic vertical die crack extends from the V through the 1 and 6 to the beaded circle. This example is far finer than most seen, with well-preserved surfaces and medium gray color overall with a few scattered darker accents on the reverse. (PCGS 22)

A diagnostic vertical die crack extends from the V through the 1 and 6 to the beaded circle. Shipping Notices

Please note our shipping quotes are bespoke and require special care and handling from our team and shippers. Shipping will be booked after payment is received. Storage Notices
Handling and Storage
Bonhams will hold all purchased lots in our New York office until 5pm on Tuesday December 16.
With the exception of buyers in NY, NJ, and CT, all other purchases not collected at this time will be shipped to our Los Angeles office and will be available there for collection or shipment on Friday December 19, Monday December 22, or Tuesday December 23 if needed before the holidays. Otherwise, lots may be picked up in the new year starting Monday January 5, 2015.
