The form of the downwardly-depressed bottle in Drink Me, and of course the title itself, are references to the vial of magic potion drank by Alice to shrink and enter the Wonderland. A second oil relating to the Alice in Wonderland tale is the Tate Gallery's Garden (1966-7).
