A pair of Bohemian part-ruby-stained goblets and covers attributed to Anton Heinrich Pfeiffer, Carlsbad, circa 1835-45

Raised on heavy clear octagonal stems and scalloped feet cut with starbursts underneath, the bucket-shaped bowls set with ruby-stained circular panels, finely engraved, one with the Madonna and Child with Saints Sixtus and Barbara after Raphael's Sistine Madonna, the other with the Resurrection, the reverses with further ruby panels cut with multiple viewing lenses, 36cm high (4)
