A .44 S&W (Russian) New Model No. 3 Six-Shot Single-Action Centre-Fire Revolver
No. 31364, Circa 1878-1912

With hinged blued sighted barrel stamped with manufacturer's details without patent date along the raised sighting rib, pivoting down for loading and automatically operating the sprung cartridge-extractor, fluted cylinder retaining some blueing, blued frame with chequered sprung barrel-catch and stamped with circular S&W trade mark on one side, trigger-guard and butt, the latter with lanyard ring, chequered hard-rubber grips each with impressed company trade mark at the top, and some original finish
