An Indonesian Bronze Lantaka
Dated 1231 A.H. Corresponding To 1815 A.D.

Of characteristic form, with two-stage barrel, the breech cast with a triangular panel of foliage centred on a button above, an Arabic inscription above and below, the upper inscription involving the number '25', raised back-sight with plugged touch-hole between, flared cog-like muzzle (fore-sight incomplete) with two moulded rings behind, turned and moulded tubular cascabel, and pivoting peg mount: on an octagonal wooden stand
