With earlier curved finely watered single-edged Persian blade (some surface rust), hilt comprising border engraved quillon-block with bluntly-pointed langets and bud-shaped quillon terminals each with knurled bands, and rounded rhinoceros horn grip-scales (grip-strap missing), the pommel pierced for a sword-knot and retaining one silver floret-shaped mount, in its wooden scabbard covered in black leather with deep locket and chape chased with borders and foliage, the shaped suspension mounts en suite with the quillon-block and each with a ring for suspension (some wear overall)
