The first with recurved double-edged blade (rust patinated) cut with a double fuller forming a medial ridge over each side, brass hilt with riveted foliate engraved shaped plate over each side of the forte, domed ovoidal guard, knuckle-guard with beaded borders, and grip and pommel formed in the round as a Yali (some wear and damage); the second of characteristic form, with curved fullered blade (pitted), brass-covered forte engraved with scrolling foliage, iron hilt set with foliate silver panels and comprising downbent arms, rear quillon and knuckle-guard all with brass monster-head terminals cast and chased in the round, and ivory grip with pommel carved in the round as a monster-head with brass eyes, the grip with engraved silver mounts (two missing, one incomplete); the last of cast brass pierced with trelliswork and shaped over the hand and fore-arm, the former formed as a mustachioed grotesque face, the latter set with a scorpion, riveted wrist-mount, and tubular grip (3)
