The first of characteristic form, with tapering double-edged blade, looped iron hilt extending as a shaped mount over each side of the forte and with a row of cross-shaped piercings along the front, the rear of tapering triangular section tapering to a central moulding and pierced with small holes (some light pitting), in its wooden scabbard covered in black leather with pierced brass chape; the second of cast brass and of similar form, decorated overall with a male and female Indian figure, a Makara mask, and surmounted by two birds (heads missing); the third of iron, with leaf-shaped spike and curved hook each chiselled with foliage at the back, on fluted column-shaped stem threaded to the socket, the latter of circular section and engraved with ropework borders; together with an all-steel knife with recurved single-edged blade (4)
