The Katana, Unsigned, Koto
The blade with two mekugi-ana cut with two short hi on the ura and with a ken and bonji, midare hamon with sunagashi, masame hada

The Wakizashi, Signed Soshu ju Hirotsugu (Orikaeshi Mei), Koto
The hira-zukuri blade with one mekugi-ana (o-suriage) cut with twin hi on each side, midare hamon, itame hada

The Koshirae
The fully bound tsuka with shakudo fuchi-kashira decorated with numerous samurai in soft-metals, gilt dragonfly menuki, and shakudo nanako tsuba decorated with figures in landscapes with soft-metal details within gilt rims, in their polished samé sayas with kurikata and each with kodzuka and kogai all en suite with the tsuka and signed Goto Mitsumasa with Kao, shakudo and gilt saya-kanemono in the form of Ho-ho birds, and gilt kojiri engraved with chidori and waves
71.4 cm. and 37.4 cm. blades
