The blade with one mekugi-ana cut on each side with one broad and one narrow hi, midare hamon with sunagashi, itame hada, fully bound tsuka with shibuichi fuchi-kashira decorated with buildings in a rocky landscape, soft-metals details, soft-metal menuki in the form of figures, and square iron Jakushi tsuba chiselled with buildings by a stream, gilt details, in its aogai lacquered saya with shibuichi koi-guchi, kurikata, uragawara, kojiri and kodzuka decorated en suite with the tsuka
