An 11-Bore Percussion 1842 Pattern Lancer's Service Pistol
Dated 1847

With plain barrel and tang, dated border engraved flat lock with 'V-R' crowned above 'Tower', figured full stock (some bruising) stamped with supplier's name 'T. Potts' opposite the lock and with Board of Ordnance ownership mark on one side of the rounded butt, regulation brass mounts including butt-cap stamped '12 RL C' over '45', suspension loop, and stirrup ramrod (some wear and rust patination), Ordnance view and proof marks
