Three Decorative Full Armours In Late 16th Century Style
Late 19th Century And Later

Each of bright steel and fully articulated, the first etched with scrolling foliage involving two jousting Knights on horseback on the breast-plate; the second etched with foliage and trophies against a blackened ground, the breast-plate with a coat-of-arms above 'Nicolo Daponte', together with a shield decorated en suite; the third etched with foliage and trophies of arms (the surface rust patinated overall); together with a close-helmet in late 16th Century style, the upper bevor, lower-bevor, back of the skull and gorget-plates etched and gilt with trophies of arms, the first pierced with rectangular breaths on both sides (5)
