A German Gilt-Copper Powder-Flask
Late 17th Century

With faceted cushion-shaped body with applied boss on the outer side decorated with converging flutes, the inner side engraved around the border with four panels of foliated strapwork against punched grounds, faceted baluster nozzle with sprung brass tap, two rings for suspension, and much original gilding; together with a brass shell-shaped powder-flask in mid-18th century style (2)
