Two Pairs Of Small German Stirrups
16th Century

Of iron, round arched in outline, the fluted tapering sides with roped edges and punched and incised line decoration at the top on both sides, circular writhen foot-plates with double cross-bars en suite, and each with rectangular leather-box en suite with the sides (some pitting overall) (2)
9.3 cm. to 10.2 cm. high
