A Medieval Hand-And-A-Half Sword
First Half Of The 15th Century

In excavated condition, with broad tapering double-edged blade of flattened diamond section with central fuller along each side of the forte extending slightly into the tang, the fuller on both sides inlaid in latten (some missing) with a running wolf mark between cross potents, straight quillons of tapering rectangular section, long flat tapering tang, and stopper-shaped pommel of octagonal section surmounted by a tang washer
