With long slender sharply tapering blade of stiff diamond section, the forte with central fuller on each side etched with scrolls and stamped 'In Toledo' in large capitals between oval and cross marks beyond, steel hilt comprising quillon-block chiselled on each side with a grotesque mask flanked by foliage, straight spirally-fluted quillons each with floret-shaped tip, knuckle-guard en suite, slender downcurved arms, cup with turned-over edge (rompepuntas) pierced and chiselled with scrolling foliage, the cup and large guardapolvo en suite, the former framing male and female portrait medallions between grotesque masks, compressed pommel with button and chiselled with foliage en suite, and spirally twist grip bound with twisted iron wire (incomplete) between Turk's heads
