With sharply tapering double-edged blade of slightly hollowed flattened diamond section, tapering rectangular ricasso struck on each side with a bladesmith's mark, a gothic 'W', iron hilt composed of faceted bars and comprising recurved quillons each with double central feature on the outside and rounded terminal, arms, two outer side-rings above a smaller side-ring and each with double central feature en suite with the quillons, the upper most linked by a curved bar to the knuckle-guard, inner-guard of four slender bars swept-up to join the knuckle-guard, rounded barrel-shaped pommel with integral button, and grip bound with brass and twisted iron wire between copper and iron wire Turk's heads (some pitting overall)
